Rilien was able to salvage only one piece of flesh from his companion's ruined body. Rilien slumped home, dejected. He was terribly depressed, but a few days later, after Rilien was exiting Selmion, the ghost of Perry saw him, and spent two days and nights coming for him.

After Perry saw Rilien go into the hidden passage to his home, Perry flew in after him, to find Rilien, sat at his house. Perry came toward the chair Rilien sat in and greeted him as an old friend.

Rilien was then desperate to get Perry back to normal, he pleaded to the gods, but to no use. Eventually Perry suggested a reincarnation, the way Merrio had risen again. Rilien was delighted and hit a hidden lever revealing a small shrine to Talos, the god of the nether and self sacrifice, also the father of Dalvec.

Rilien set the piece of flesh on the table and began a blood sacrifice. Perry watched, confused until the flesh began to glow golden. Perry blacked out, though Rilien stayed and had a conversation with Talos. In the end Talos promised to protect Perry.

Perry, as a ghost had a new, and immense pool of magic, consisting of ice. As all ghosts, he is a 'Thaumaturge'. He was able to change into things from, a ball of ice, to a cloud of frost.

Perry had been watching the citizens of Tamora that day, in the form of a cloud of frost. As he walked toward the pub, he felt a presence in his mind. He quickly got rid of this presence. It was Talos, he had entered Perry's mind to shield him from a minor Malvier god about to pounce and corrupt Perry.

Unfortunately, as soon as Talos was gone, Perry was in the top floor of the pub when the Malvier entered him, causing him to become evil. He quickly destroyed the torches in the pub and froze the door shut. After the deed was done and Priest Armstrong came to attack the spirit, Perry turned red and grew even stronger.

He came at the people in the pub with fury. Ivan and Jeremy both hid in a room while Armstrong stood and fought.

After exchanging blows, Perry finally channeled all of his magic into one ray. He created a large block of ice around Armstrong.

His energy depleted, Perry fled to a former chamber of a Crystal. [[Not getting into much detail where or what was there]] He sprayed tankards of ice and snow into the place, turning it slick and frosty. Once his energy failed him, he dissipated once more.
